Organic Acerola powder with 17% Vitamin C.

The acerola fruit is small and bright red. It resembles a cherry but has a distinct tart taste.

Vitamin C is the commonly used name for ascorbic acid – a substance that the human body is unable to synthesize. It is water-soluble: if you get more Vitamin C than your body needs, the excess amounts will be excreted through the urine.

Vitamin C contributes to the energy metabolism and to the normal function of your immune system, helps to support your cells against oxidative stress and supports the synthesis of collagen which contributes to the normal funktion of your blood vessels, bones, skin, gums and teeth and to the maintenance of your cartilage tissue.

The addition of maltodextrin and an extra filtration process ensure that the powder has a neutral taste and is slightly yellow.
