Recommended use:. Mild tea: ½-1 tsp per litre of boiling water. Strong tea: ½-1 tsp per cup of boiling water. Let simmer for 3-4 minutes and brew for app. 15 minutes. Strain before serving. Drink hot or cold, if desired add honey or lemon.
The Ipe Roxo tree (Tabebuia impetiginosa (Mart. ex DC.) Standl.) grows in the Amazon rainforest and the rest of South America. For centuries, the bark from the tree has been used by the Callaway tribe in the old Inca Empire and in Brazil, the Caribbean and the rest of Latin and Central America.
The product has been on the Danish market since 1976.
You may experience varying taste and appearance in individual packets. This is due to the raw material coming from both young and old Ipe Roxo trees.
