Ipe Roxo comes from the inner bark of the South American Ipe Roxo tree. It has been used for hundreds of years by Indian tribes in South and Central America. Among the tribes are the Callaway tribe of the Inca Empire and the Guaranis, Tupinambas, Quechuas and Ayanaras in Brazil, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay etc. They used Ipe Roxo long before Spanish explorers reached the South American shores. And they still use it.
The product has been on the Danish market since 1976.
You may experience varying taste and appearance in individual packets. This is due to the raw material coming from both young and old Ipe Roxo trees.
Also available as capsules and drops and as tea with peppermint flavour.
