These small flakes of inactive yeast may be used as a spice and flavouring agent in sauces, bread, porridge, pies, tofu marinades etc. The cheese-like flavour of the flakes makes them excellent for dishes that require cheese, e.g., a delicious cheese sauce for pizzas, pastas, lasagna and pies.
NOTE! The volume of this product may vary from one batch to another. Thus, 1 tbs weighs between 2 and 5 g. When a bottle of yeast flakes is shaken, e.g., during transportation, yeast flakes will compress. Thus, the size of the bottle cannot be reduced as the yeast flakes almost fill it when bottled.
